Hybrid Manual QA Engineer for leading iGaming organization in Gzira, Malta

About the Role:

Our client are looking for a QA Analyst based in Malta, to oversee the release of new features across their portfolio of Online Casino Brands. You will be working closely with development teams and Product Owners to ensure the highest quality standards are met as part of the release process, and sign-off new features based on defined acceptance criteria. You will collaborate with high-performing engineering teams from each product area and be responsible for finding and reporting bugs across the various areas of the product. Your keen eye-for-detail and passion for Casino and Sportsbook will ensure they continue to drive excellence on our in-house platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business requirements, design documents for completeness and testability;
  • Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data;
  • Define and Perform acceptance tests on new features;
  • Manual tests of new functionality and release builds;
  • Perform exploratory testing of new features across a wide range of supported devices/browsers related to our primary Delivery Channels (Desktop/Mobile);
  • Conduct post-release functional and user acceptance testing;
  • Work closely with Engineers and investigate issues found during testing;
  • Capture test results, test metrics and report them;
  • Work closely with Automation Testers to ensure proper test-coverage for our release cycle.


  • A minimum 2 years hands-on experience in QA testing for web, api and mobile applications;
  • Experience in the Online Gambling industry would be required.
  • Experience in Functional testing, User Acceptance Testing, Integration testing, System testing, Sanity testing and Backend testing;
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques;
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude;
  • Ability to work in a team and on your own;
  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with (or knowledge of) automation testing would be beneficial.
