We are seeking an experienced Senior Cat Behaviour Consultant to join our client in Amsterdam!

 

As a Senior Cat Behaviour Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to pet owners who are experiencing behavioural issues with their cats, and sometimes their dogs aswell. This is the perfect position for you who want to take the next step within your Cat Communication Career!

 


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioural assessments and create individualized behaviour modification plans for cats with behavioural issues. 
  • Provide consultation services to clients, including phone consultations, in-home consultations, and follow-up appointments. 
  • Educate clients on cat behaviour and provide recommendations for managing behavioural issues.
  • Work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients and their cats.
  • Develop and implement new behaviour modification techniques and programs.
  • Conduct group training classes for cat owners and provide educational seminars to the community.
  • Attend conferences and continuing education seminars to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field. 

 


Requirements:
 

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in animal behaviour, animal science, or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in animal behaviour consulting, with a specialization in cats. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
