French speaking Business Analyst for Compliance at a leading private bank in Geneva
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) | Open to EU citizens currently eligible to work in Switzerland
About the role
Our client is a global technology consulting firm delivering IT services to leading institutions across Europe. For one of their end clients, a prestigious private bank based in Geneva with a strong heritage in wealth and asset management, they are now looking for a French speaking Business Analyst to join the Compliance domain.
In this role, you will support a range of compliance-related initiatives, including system enhancements, regulatory adaptations, and third-party tool integrations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key part in ensuring high-quality business and functional analysis within a regulated and fast-evolving financial environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct functional analysis for compliance projects and support system evolution and maintenance

Gather and analyze business requirements from internal stakeholders

Specify and document functional needs using Agile methodology (Scrum)

Coordinate third-party integrations and collaborate with external vendors

Define and execute functional test cases and support users during UAT and change activities

Investigate and document production incidents or support requests requiring business expertise

Ensure smooth integration of compliance tools into the existing banking architecture
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking IT

Solid experience working on compliance-related projects

Strong knowledge of the Pythagoras (MCO) solution – essential

Proficient in SQL and database access tools

Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written

Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum)

Excellent communication, coordination and documentation skills

Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities
Would be a plus

Knowledge of the customer data model in banking

Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

Previous experience organizing workshops with varied business and technical stakeholders
