Our client is now looking for a Product Owner Innovation in their multiple office locations in Netherlands - Rotterdam, Almere, Tilburg, or Maastricht

Together with approximately 1300 professionals spread over 4 offices throughout the country, our client focuses on customer contact activities within various sectors such as IT, tourism, automotive, and healthcare.

About the role

How can you improve our clients' customer experience and customer journey? As a Product Owner Innovation in the Business Intelligence department, you are involved in working towards this goal on a daily basis. You will get insights from data generated by telephone traffic, chat, email, website portals, apps, and social media.

As a Product Owner, you are one of the driving forces behind the success of the innovative solutions this company offers its clients. They work with different technologies, platforms, and techniques to get the most out of data.

Within this role you have a varied function; setting up and improving new technological tooling, analyzing (meta-) data, recognizing improvement potential, and bringing solutions.

Often the work starts with an inquiry from the internal business or directly from the client. This is followed by the elaboration of a business case and the ideas are converted into automatic analysis, for example, via Speech Analytics software.

Furthermore, you are involved in proposing adjustments to the product and you can describe them on the basis of user stories. From a data and end-user mindset, you will propose possible solutions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Independently leading analytical projects in the field of innovation. This includes the management, and coordination of analyses, as well as the practical implementation of projects
  • Demonstrating and presenting innovations and bringing creative ideas regarding existing working methods and development of new methods
  • Back-office activities, including data mining
    Generating insights by setting up and implementing dashboards
  • Proactively proposing and developing improvement proposals
  • Measuring results after implementation of improvement projects
  • On-site contact center auditing

Requirements for the role:

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • 2-3 years of work experience with analytical or transformation projects in the field of innovation
  • Background in Business Analysis, Customer Services, Operations Management or Retail
    Experience with startup projects is an advantage
  • As a person you are customer-oriented and able to get to the heart of the client's demand
    Sense of detail and an analytical mindset is a must
  • Fluent command of the Dutch and English language
