Citrix Administrator for IT Services Company / Remotely in Romania 

*only candidates eligible to work in Romania in a possession of CNP will be considered 

Our client is a multinational IT services company offering a wide range of services including IT consulting, software development, infrastructure management, business process outsourcing, and digital strategy. The company has a global presence with offices and delivery centers in over 60 countries. With a focus on innovation and technology-driven solutions, they have established itself as a leading player in the global IT industry.

They are now looking for a Citrix administrator with 7+ years of experience in Administration.

Mandatory Requirements:        

  • Citrix XenDesktop (Mandatory)
  • Windows and Citrix Implementation (Mandatory)
  • Network Management
  • Advanced level of German

Mandatory Certification:           

  • ITIL Foundation/Practitioner

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Act as a point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management
  • Have hands on Experience in Windows, VMware, Virtualization Desktop Integration (VDI)
  • Have experience in designing, installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex Citrix Environment
  • Be able to design, implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support internal and hosted customer Citrix Server Environments
  • Be able to implement new system hardware and software and develop local operating procedures and policies as needed
  • Design, implement & support Citrix XenDesktop (VDI) in both VMware ESX and Nutanix Hyper conversed technologies
  • Have hands on experience on Citrix XenApp 7.6 and above / XenDesktop 7.6 and above/ NetScaler 9.x above and StoreFront
  • Have skills in core Citrix Virtual Desktop, PVS and Virtual Application technologies
  • Have good hands-on experience in troubleshooting Citrix issues. Resolve complex tickets related published applications, desktops, and other Citrix related matters
  • Streamline issue resolution by coordinating with the customers’ IT resources and the user community with complex, multiple AD domains
  • Have advanced experience with PVS, management of VDISKs, coordinating UAT, and lifecycle management of Citrix images
  • Have experience in AppSense Application Manager and/or Environment Manager
  • Have experience in writing PowerShell Scripts
  • Have experience with virtualizing Windows 7/10
  • Have advanced experience with AD / GPOs.
  • Ensure proper communication and quick resolution
  • Drive day to day operations and work plan allocation/management
  • Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents
  • Be part of reviews on need basis for new projects
  • Work on effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects

  • 1-3 years of experience: max. 14 500 Ron Gross
