As a Backend Developer, you will be part of the Tech team, working towards developing innovative features while maintaining high-quality systems. Reporting directly to the Head of Tech, you will collaborate to explore new opportunities to automate and enhance business functions and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Code and deliver high-quality software using Go programming language.
Maintain, build, and test new features for existing applications.
Identify and address issues reported by users and implement necessary fixes.
Develop backend and API functionality.
Collaborate with different departments to translate requirements into scalable software applications.
Provide technical feedback to other teams and serve as a key contact point.
Create and maintain various types of documentation related to users, applications, and architecture.
Take ownership of product lifecycle for multiple systems.
Ensure the maintenance, expansion, and scalability of systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming, testing, and system architecture.
Experience in developing microservices, preferably using Go.
Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and proficient in writing SQL queries, with experience in working with relational database platforms.
Solid understanding of software design principles.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with ClickHouse, AWS, and Cloudflare would be advantageous.
