Responsibilities:
Manage applications on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform ensuring seamless deployment and steadfast support.
Engage in collaborative planning, deployment, and maintenance of critical business applications with a team of adept professionals.
Design and implement conducive environments for various applications, engineering apt release management procedures.
Play a pivotal role in influencing other teams and broader engineering groups towards the adoption of DevOps best practices.
Automate the provisioning of environments utilizing containers like Docker & Kubernetes, amplifying efficiency and operational excellence.
Develop and execute automation workflows, conducting unit tests to ascertain optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with a focus on minimizing impact to customers, demonstrating a problem-solving ethos at every juncture.
Actively participate in Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features, with a concentrated focus on release and post-production support.
Represent production support in Agile stand-ups, planning sessions, and deployment activities, being the linchpin for application operability.
Drive continuous improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation, fostering a production environment that epitomizes excellence.
Identify and remediate reoccurring issues in collaboration with IT & Business partners, ensuring a seamless operational milieu.
Required Skills:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar.
Profound understanding of the entire web development process from design to deployment.
Mastery in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
Proficient with Git, including branching and merging strategies.
Familiarity with SQL and a teamwork-oriented problem-solving attitude.
Comprehensive knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployments.
Proficiency in automating deployments using tools like Azure DevOps.
Dedication to adopting best practices in documentation, testing, security, and efficient resource utilization.
Good to Have:
Experience with Web Technologies like Vue.Js, Webpack, Knockout, NodeJS.
Proficiency in managing cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in managing Azure Application Services applications.
