Currently, we are seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team.
The Software Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for guiding and overseeing development teams. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's software development strategy, planning, and execution. Their focus will be on helping their team meet their objectives, tracking team velocity, identifying bottlenecks, and facilitating technical growth. The Tech Lead will collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams, serving as the primary technical authority and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Provide technical and functional training for new company employees and developers, including mentoring for professional growth.
- Contribute to defining system architecture, evaluating technologies, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Take ownership of projects and work alongside the Product Owner (PO) to set priorities, monitor tasks, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Assist in analyzing and defining functional and technical activities for other employees and developers.
- Monitor task progress and address any impediments hindering development using tools like "JIRA" or other project management software.
- Conduct code reviews for deliveries from other developers.
- Develop systems primarily using ".NET" languages.
- Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) principles, including unit test development.
- Use GIT for code versioning, following the project's branch scheme (e.g., git flow).
- Proficiency in programming .NET applications.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL.
- Experience in system administration, particularly with Windows systems.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a Team Lead in software development projects is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
