Onsite Network Support Engineer (Telecom OSS/BSS) for Global IT leaders in Denmark (Aarhus or Copenhagen)

About the role:

As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution.  You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution.  You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and controlling networks from a central location.
  • Handling Incidents, Change Management, Processes
  • Handling SLA time (Response, Escalate, Notify, resolution)
  • Network troubleshooting and alarm response
  • Managing IT networks (FW, Router, Switch, DNS, DMX, Protocols, Configurations, Topology, VPN)
  • IT network availability & performance monitoring
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors
  • Performance and Status reporting


Required Skills

  • Technical proficiency in Core Telecommunications & OSS/ BSS for Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 transport network & services 
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role within the telecommunication sector
  • Experience in using network monitoring tools – HP NNMi 8.13/9.10, HPE vTeMIP, OPM etc
  • Experience in using ITSM or Ticketing system (Service Now, HP-ITSM, Remedy)
  • Technical skills: Linux, SQL
  • ITIL certified
  • Proficiency in English Language
