Fully Remote SCCM Patch Management & Software Distribution Specialist to a Leading IT Services Provider in Bucharest, Romania

*Only candidates eligible to work in Romania and in possession of CNP will be considered

Job Description:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Desktop engineering.
• Background and experience in managing a large distributed desktop estate (50,000+ clients).
• Hands-on experience with SCCM 2012.
• Proficient in Software distribution and Patch Management using SCCM.
• Ability to handle end-to-end patch management processes, including 3rd-party patching.
• Knowledge of operating system deployment (OSD).
• Proficient in resolving complex technical issues related to Software distribution and Patch management.
• Creation of custom scripts for gathering inventory from clients (PowerShell).
• Testing and release of applications and patches using SCCM.
• Automation experience in Patch remediation.
• Ability to create PowerShell scripts.
• Experience in SCCM client remediation.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and group policies.
• Adherence to SLAs for patch management.
• Hands-on experience in deploying out-of-band patches and achieving compliance within agreed service levels.
• Ability to generate custom reports using SQL queries.
• Setting various access controls on the SCCM console, managing the SCCM database, and performance tuning.
• Compliance reporting on patching.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interface with customers and provide solutions.
• Resolution of escalated tasks by L1 and L2 teams.
• Experience in incident change and release management processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of SCCM Infrastructure is a must.
• Experience in Incident, Request, Change, and problem management.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Good to have – Team lead experience. • Good to have – Certification in SCCM 2012. • Good to have – SCCM Infrastructure knowledge. • Good to have - Knowledge of MDT, Auto Pilot, Active directory, and related components.
• Total 6-8 years of experience working on Intune.

Language & Mandate Requirements:

• German (mother tongue or min. B2 Level).
• English (mother tongue or min. B1 Level).
• SCCM Certification 70-703.
• MD-102: Endpoint Administrator.
• ITIL Foundation/Practitioner.
• Operating System: Windows Server 2016, 2019, Windows Server 2012 (if still in use).
• Patch Management: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, HCL BigFix (PatchmyPC).
• Scripting: PowerShell, VBScript.
• Secure remote access: CyberArk.
