Remote-German-Speaking SCOM Administrator Level 2 for a Leading Manufacturing and Consumer Goods Company

Role Highlights:

  • Lead Microsoft SCOM administration, customization, and configuration efforts to ensure robust monitoring and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of MS Windows server administration to manage and optimize Windows Server 2016+ environments.
  • Design and implement SCOM dashboards that provide actionable insights and streamline operational processes.
  • Manage SCOM components including Management Packs, Rules, Tasks, Monitors, and User roles, ensuring a high level of system integrity and performance.
  • Configure email notifications, schedule and create reports, and oversee SQL DB maintenance plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Develop evergreen documentation and conduct training sessions for end-users, enhancing their understanding and effective use of the SCOM environment.
  • Maintain the SCOM environment in optimal condition, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and deliver excellent solutions that meet their needs.

Your Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on SCOM administration and Windows Server management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both English and German, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams.
  • Certifications in SCOM Administration and ITIL, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and best practices in IT service management.
  • A proven track record of developing and testing monitoring solutions within SCOM, ensuring reliability and performance in production environments.
