As a Data Engineer in the IT department, your proficiency in Qlik Sense Platform Development and Administration will be central to your role. You'll be involved in configuration management, automation tools, building and releasing utilities, as well as continuous integration and automated deployments. Your technical capabilities will be vital across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, from generating insights to working with real-time data ingestion, and automating the usage of structured data for consumption by various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) using logging/monitoring tools.
  • Execute information modelling and develop plans for Data Governance.
  • Support validation for all types of testing and activities related to implementation, transition, warranty, Technical Application Maintenance, and Application Operation tasks.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Solid expertise in Qlik Sense admin, platform and development, Business Objects.
  • Adept understanding of Scrum and proficiency in JIRA.
  •  Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, TeamCity for continuous integration and automated deployments.
  •  Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
